Fuxan os Ventos

One of the most remarkable current Galician groups was born in 1972 in a school of the province of Lugo, with a group of kids that decided to create the band "Folk 72". They participated in the 3rd Festival As San Lucas de Mondoñedo(Lugo), where they won the first prize with the song "Fuxan os Ventos", which would later become the name of the band.

The musical character of the band took shape gradually as it dived into the Galician cultural heritage to re-strengthen Galician folk during the swinging 70's. Between 1979 and 1985 Fuxan os Ventos reached its climax, with concerts outside of Galicia and Spain, with successful European tours.

Nowadays, after more than 30 years together and eight published records, the nine musicians of Fuxan os Ventos are releasing their latest album "Terra de soños".
